OK...

Currently I'm running a pair of PPI DCX 12, they've been good to me, I enjoy them, but they don't have a lot of excursion & it seams like they bottom out on me at times... Lately I've been thinking about getting a RE XXX, either a 12 or 15...

What would you do?

You're feeding them too much power, or your unloading them under the tuning frequency if vented, or your enclosure is too large for you power. I'd go the cheap route and optimize the application before changing equipment.

yes, like Ryan said, rebuild first, maybe we can help some in the design,

from what I understand they are not far off from the Orion H2, but made to take less power,

if you are thinking of switching, I would strongly look at the new MAG, but that is another story

Well, they are 1000w rms each, running off of a 1500 watt amp, so they are only getting 750 each... They are in a sealed box, some of the local shops around here couldn't get them to work well vented, and kept blowing the dust cap to bits... The box it's roughly 2.4 cubes before displacement, so the box isn't too large either...

if you could act fast and you didnt feel like rebulding...id say pick up an Avalanche 15 while they are still hot, but they are scarce and may already be out...the price is unbeatable.

you have to watch kickinaudio's vid of one of his team mates trucks with Solo X's and watch how they basicly punt the dust cap to the wind shield
