Box is finished, sub is here, but still trying to decide on the amp. So help me out! 1) Kicker KX600.1....2)Phoenix Gold Xenon 600.1....

3)Diamond Audio D3 600.1.

xennon between 1 and 4 ohms 600wrms i have had it for about 6 months very nice amp no trouble low drain on my standard electrical system(minimal almost non exhistant dimming at high volumes at night) never shuts off love it! great sound plays low/clean.with a sound stream exact 10 .....or 2? (tried / used 1 and 2 woofers,prefer the sq of just 1,but am going to UPGRADE :slayer: WWWWHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE to an rl-p 12 as soon as i can get mikey to bill me n ship it!)

Dual 4, and plan on wiring down to 2ohm

IMO too close to call, both are going to be very solid and reliable, and both will put out well into 700 watts with ease, both will run fairly cool even with some abuse, and both will be somewhat efficent for daily needs,

personally I feel that it is a toss up, I like both

Would a Elemental Designs Nine.1 be overkill for the sub?

1200 watts will work with the RL-p (hell, even split between TWO RL-p's :P). A little bit of overkill to be sure, but so long as you build a sturdy box to spec and keep all your settings in line, it should make for a very nice setup. Of course, if you are reckless with your equipment and have a tendancy to crank everythin' up to the max... well then I'd suggest a smaller amp to be on the safer side. ;)

I RUN 1200RMS on my 15 sealed ! Just dont set ur gain too high.

It sounds argh i camp in my car. I'll get my pic soon... sorry guys.

My car is in the workshop for engine transplant.
