check what? that it works? or that it will push the sub? if it turns on and pushes the sub at all it will definately push it, if it doesnt turn on then obviously it wont push it lol. hook it up and plug the sub in. make sure u set ur gain right and it will b fine.

Only way to check it is by installing it, just make sure you can install in time before your warranty expires so you know it works.

Why would he want to do that? The amplifier is only stable at 4 ohms bridged.

You bought a mismatched amp for your sub. Your only option is to either wire the voice coils in series and bridge the amp at 8 ohms or wire one voice coil to each channel. Either way you'll only get about 350 watts out of the amp.

where does it say that it is only stable at 4 ohms bridged? if that is the case then wiring to 2 ohms bridged is def a bad idea...maybe the site i looked at was different that urs kl40.

Well on the two sites I found it just listed 4 ohm stereo power and 4 ohm bridged power. What site were you looking at? About 98% of 2 channel amps are only stable to 2 ohms stereo/4 ohms bridged.

I bought it it because it seemed like a deal. Just need something to get this up and going. I figured it would be better than that rf400-4. I dont have an extra couple hundred laying around...
