its fine if you have enough of a electrical system i run 2 of them a .5 im gettin about 1500 watts out of each, it will b safe just make sure u have a good electrical system i have 2 batteries big 3 and high output alt n mines fine

really well i have a stock 105 amp alt and a optima yellow and if i do go this route i will add anather run of 4 gage right now i have 1 run. Big 3 in 2 gage and a kinetik hc 800 in the trunk. DO YOU THINK THAT WILL CUT IT . Right now i have a older t501bd thats only 2ohm stable and it runing 2 L5 12's dual 2 ohm @ 2ohm and a kicker 250.2 running@ 2ohm and i get no dimming at all i want to run the L5's parallel @.5 off the t1000.1 what do you think. i was thinking of geting a sundown 1000.1 i forget the modal number i think it's an H somthing V somthing i cant remember what do you think of them??? its a saz 1000d

You probably could, but it would also probably shorten the life span of the amplifier. Why not just either get an amp stable at .5 ohm or wire your setup to a load that a different amplifier is stable at.

Ya thats most likley what i am going to do i just dont know anything about alote of the lesser knowen amps. Are sundown amps stable at .5 do you know and how is there SQ. And are thay under rated like RF

Sundown is a great choice! Underrated and are a great sounding amplifier. They are not recommended to run at 0.5 ohm daily. As KU40 said it shortens the lifespan of your amplifier. Also will void your warranty. You will want to upgrade your wiring to 0 gauge and a bigger battery(s) in back.

yes sundown amps are underrated (the 1200 can do 1500+). but why dont you run your subs to a 2 ohm load and get something like a kicker/alpine/fosgate etc that does their rated power at 2 ohms

well ya know that brings me to anather ? i always thought its better to run your subs in parallel if you can rather then seires parallel even if seires parallel will give you the proper impedence if that makes any sents. So what im saying is will it matter if you run parallel or seires or a commbination of the 2 so long as you are at your amps highest rated ohm load
