Which of the Two?

Recommended Posts

i run a f150 supercrew 2001

i have pioneer headunit with door speakers that are amped..

and im looking to finish my system

i was recommended to this box/sub setup

http://www.supercrewsound.com/commer...Id=15&catId=58

with 2 ID 10 subs

i want it to hit pretty nice and get loud and be overall nice.

is this a good setup or do i have better options?

how loud do these ID subs get, etc?

I have also considered a single 12 in ssd in a different similar style box but with bigger mounting depth and using up an entire 1.0-1.2 cubes SEALED.

what do you guys think?

thanks

well see im asking if its worth doing a single 12 ssd? like especially in a down firing box...thats close to the floor with 1.0-1.2 cubes SEALED. with 750 rms going to it. im worried how it will be sealed or if it has room to move.

A single ssd 12 will get loud in your truck off of 750rms in 1.1 cubes ( my first box). Just remember when down fireing subs look closely at the xmax and give it enough room to move.

well you mentioned xmax, how do i make sure i have enough room for that with the box?

Xmax is the distance the cone travels, I would give it atleast 1.5" more to be safe.
