so im thinkin about selling my hifonics 1610d and buying a sae1200d from sundown. would that b a good idea? im running 1 18" fi q with bp power in a 6.3 cubic foot box after sub and port displacement.

i would do it! the 1200d will make so much more power plus the hifonics has like 4gauge terminals and the 1200 has 1/0 terminals!! so there is a plus one! lol!

lol yea i hate those 4 gauge terminals...lol stuffing 0/1 gauge in it is a pain in the ass plus its probably not very safe...i like the 1200d bc its rated at 12.4 volts which is a plus...i think im gonna do it, as long as i can sell my amp soon. when do the 1200s come out?

both are pretty good amps. i would say go with the SAZ-1500D. IMO better to have more power for some head room

well you could have used a reducer thingy. i forget the name but ya 1/0 is okay to use! but for sure have you seen tthe clamp on the 1500? it is insane

also notice that the 1200 used was the v1 and it was putting out nearly 1700rms and the new 1200d v2 is build about 2x time tuffer! so keep that in mind!

Either Sundown will do (SAE-1200D or SAZ-1500D), I would go for SAE-1200D in your case, FTW!
