maybe this is a noob question....

So i just got a 200 watt 2 channel and some comps. I already have a mono amp and some 12s. The sub amp turns on when the key is in the on position. You can't hear it in the acc position. When I wire my comps and the new amp, will I be able to listen to the radio with the key in the acc position? I usually like to listen to the radio on my lunch break, etc. Will I just have to turn the key to the on position for that?

umm if you turn your key one position forward or backwards it SHOULD turn on your stero allowing you to listen with the car off. if yuo are going to be pounding the BASS i recommend turning on the car though. or maybe you can wire in a switch to turn off the sub and amp so you can listen to the audio without damaging anything due to low voltage drops.

If it is wired to your remote start on radio and radio comes on during ACC position then yes amp will come on in ACC position.

Definitely not gonna be pounding the bass in front of work on the lunch break. I usually listen to talk radio during that time.

You just have to wire the remote to the correct wire behind the head unit. I take it you didn't wire your sub amp to the head unit's remote output? You should. Same with the comps amp.
