just got a 12'' lvl 4. gonna put in a 2cuft box after PD in a removable port box @ 32 and 36 hz. i had a 12'' re se in a 1.6cu ft box before. was pushing 700 rms to the re, will be pushing twice that to the lvl 4. u guys think there will be a huge/ noticeable difference in spl?

yeah Id say there should be a noticable improvement. Lvl 4 vs RE SE + 700 watts vs 1400...

if youre making the port tunable, how come your gonna have a 32 and a 36 option? why not a 34 for daily and a 45-50 or something for a comp? or is it just so you can choose which one you like better for daily and then never change it again?

haha to be honest, i had never thought about competing. the 32 hz port will be for daily and the 36 will be for special occasion where i will only play trance/ techno music in the car. on the plus side, im quite new and listening to different tuning from the same sub can give me an idea of what i wanna do for my next set up. Once i get my electrical cleared out, i'm hoping to put another lvl 4 in the set up.
