Why wont you be using the 16v side? I wouldnt get them if you just want to use the 12v side.. If you are worried about needing to charge to 16v kinetic has a AC charger for them..

unless your gonna step up the charging system to charge at 17v or more there is no point.

There was another topic on those where shizzon did some research and found those batts not too reliable for long term use. Just recently, like last week I think.

We had ten of the 16v kinetic batteries in our pro stock truck and two of them went bad after sitting for a year..

Why buy something if your not going to use it for its purpose, thats ridiculous. If your not going to change to a 16 or 17v setup then dont waste your money, buy only what you need.

To me its still useless, plus its only 65AH that sucks, group 34 battteries have around the same AH and their 12v batteries (so why get a battery made for another purpose to replace a battery that does the same thing for the purpose of what you need it for). Its one of those why bother questions, but if you want to get them because someone else runs them and is selling them then go ahead and be my guest.

how many batteries are you looking to get?

Might be able to get you some Deka Intimidatiors 9a31 for a tad bit more than that (shipped)

:)

if u never use the 16v side even for charging.. then 2 of the cells will eventually die and that's not good.

The trick to using those batts in a car is you must attach a bank of 12v batts in parallel to the 12v post and your alternator charge the 16v post.
