Yeah I just hope they hold up well since their so called the best amp since they hold the world record with 181.6db with alan dante. And their so cheap!!

Now the stetsom 4k2d pulls 240amps so is a 250amp ho alternator and a kinetik hc2400 enough power for me to get the max rms wattage out the amp?

what is the onboard fusing? and i believe the 2400 has like 115 AH right?

the 250 alt should be more then enough but for 4k you might wnat to get like two of those 2400 to power that amp!

Ok so if I get the 250amp ho alternator and 2 hc2400's will that be enough power the get the max rms wattage out the amp & enough power for me to play it all day everyday?

in my opinion yes but lets let someone else confirm this. Don't take my word for gold b/c there is always a better idea out there! give this thread a few days and see what some other ppl think!

but to me 2 batteries and a H/O will power that amp up to full power!!

i am not sure on that i had my upgraded by a buddy! i had my original alt max out with a kid. i got new parts put in my alt!!

i would say the XS3100 has much more power!! or better yet those C&D 100lb monsters!!! that would be the next biggest! or even DEKA!! they are going for about 150 shipped on the ca forums!

You can answer these questions for yourself, use the search function. The best battery is the one with the most AH(amp hours). just do some research. The Kinetik HC3800 has more AH than any xs power battery. The xs power d3100 is $350 or better and Deka 31 are $170 or better.

but for 4krms 2-d3100 should work nicely plus you will be running it at 2ohm! lol but then agian you don't know till you try right!

Get the biggest alternator you can, start buy buying two off the biggest batteries you can get and buy a volt meter. Once you have everything installed, check your voltage and if you have voltage drops then your gonna need more batteries (nobody knows exactly how many you need or if they will hold up or not).

Redo your signature so you wont be confusing anybody, some people have signature on and may be going off what they see down below. Yes a stiffer, best built box will be louder ( a piece of shit loose box will cause air leaks and all kinds of problems). Where are these qustions coming from man? Search for an answer before asking us, it will save some time and help you by learning.

I plan on buying a HDC318 dual 2ohm with alum coil & upgraded spider pack and Im giving 4k to the sub The AQ puts out 3500rms @1ohm And the 4k2d puts out 4200rms @2ohms @ 12.8volts @ 5000+wrms @2ohms @ 13.8volts. So what amp would be better and more efficent between a aq3500d and a stetsom 4k2d?

I would go Sundown SAZ-3500D, FTW!

nahh bro? they're $1,075 now and the AQ3500 is @550, almost 2 to 1 ratio there, u can do the math, and look at the reviews Jacob of sundown did and you will see how much the power diff is. the sundown put out more power, but cost a lil more. Now for guys on a budget, we would get the Aq, but if you have , about 500 extra dollars that u don't need, get the Sundowm. Don't get me wrong both are great amps. the Sundown even better, but the price is what's gets everybody. And i like how Jacob compares his amps (think he's a lil bias towards his amps) since he owns the joint!! i wanna see some price comparisons, what's out there that can compare with Aq3500 price wise? hell if i had the money i would get the Sundown, but i'm poor
