Another Alternator Question...

Recommended Posts

Got my spare change right and I'm getting ready to get my DC alternator its a 250 Amp large case "hybrid" that does 140 amp at idle. Is this enough with one D2400 under hood (in car now) & a second one (needs to be purchased) in the trunk to give my 3000d the current it needs?

Yeah, the only way to know for sure is put it in and watch your voltage (if it drops drastically then you know you need an upgrade if not your cool).

What is the hybrid version? I just got my DC Power Alt in but not installed yet. I got the new XP version of the 240 amp for my car. Its going to be using a stock pulley :D Cant wait to test this baby out.
