B-day presents for the woman.

All for $157. Not too shabby.

First, shots of the 10" THis is what I am buying a huge lot of except for the 8s. I'll have photos up of those when I get them.

Nice coated paper cone. Looks very familiar from the back. Same basket as the PG titaniums. 5 way gold plated binding posts, and the tinsel leads are 18 guage and fully insulated. There's front and rear gaskets built into the fram itself. A superb touch for such a cheap driver dollar wise.

NExt up is the component set. Really nice for the money too. Cheap basket, but other than that, really feature packed. Hell, the crossovers have a settign switch for flat, -3dB, -6dB, which is accessed by removing the top of the crossover. The mid has a nice gasket built into the rear of the basket. It also has dual 4 ohm coils. A nice touch I was not expecting. They come with all mounting hardware, LONG wiring, and pretty much any type of tweeter mounting arrangement can be made with the large variety of mounting cups included. The tweeters also swivel which is a very nice feature if mounting them off axis.

And the amp.

Also got a set of coaxials, but I was too lazy to take anymore photos. Not a bad deal at all.

I am curious about the 10 also, which model amp did you get? I am curious because I would like to try them out for fun

So how much is all the gear costing you? The stuff looks pretty good.

After I finish the Regal, I may be re-doing my mom's car (yes, she's a car audio nut)

I'd be needing 2 x 5.25" co-axial sets, 4ch amp, 2 10" or a 12" and a small mono amp)

It was $157 shipped for the amp, coaxials, sub, and components.

Denim, the amp model is the Q.24

From Thoraudio on SIN.

The NEXT story.  These are being touted in someplaces as Audison amps.  They're not.  Apparantly, a couple of years ago, there was a trademark/bankruptcy thing with Audison in the EU.  Fiamm (an accessory company like Metra), had a line of high quality amps made and branded Audison.  Audison got their trademark back, and Fiamm rebranded them as Next amps.  Now some guy is selling a bunch of them over here for cheap.

I would venture to say they are a bout middle of the line. I have seen some cheap practices used on building the amps, and of course the standard stamped frames and other little industry standard parts used, but Supa is indeed correct.
