RLP-15 info

I got a new RLP-15 on daway i need to prepared the box for sub.

How many cubic is recomended ? tuned to ?

IM more in to sound quality ported prefered.

2.5 cubic feet tuned to 28 hz is reccomended but anywhere from 28 to 32 hz and up to 3.5 cubic feet would be nice. :D

Yep 2.5 - 3 cu ft net volume, tuned to 28-34 Hz, with 35 square inches of port area is a solid vented in-car setup. In home, 3 - 3.5 cu ft net volume, tuned to 22-24 Hz, with 40 square inches of port area will be kickin'. Sealed I would suggest 2 cu ft net volume.

Sq in sealed is better, but you can get a nice response in the correct ported box too, but sealed will always be better.

1200 watts on a ported enclosure is definitely pushing it.

I would comfortably recommend between 400-800 watts on a ported RL-p.

Wish I could help you on your box plans right now - but I need to start packin' up my chit for the plane I've to catch in the morning! :ghost:

GUYS ! i cant say anything anymore i didnt attend my job today . i camp im my car for 2 night with 6 disc changer .

WHAT CAN I SAY?!

this f*** sub is F*** awsome! i can hear the tones i never heard from my old sub.

whathe f** man. EXPECIALLY WHEN THE CHELLO (spelling error?- big guitar) plays HUH!!! ! is just like argh concert! I put in my matrix/phantom of opera soundtrack !!!!!! it play with full tones.

LET ME PLAY WITH IT FOR A LITTLE WHILE THEN I"LL GET A PIC.

I rather spend my 3 seconds in my car than taking pic for you guys ! (SELFISH) JUST WAIT I JUST CANT STAND IT ANYMORE WTF !

I dont know what im talking about but im crazy i got a panda eyes now i need a real sleep before i got fired tomorrow.

btw when i brought the Sub to local audio shop....to build my box (SEALED 2.0^).

they are like hahah no brands ? are you sure is from UNITED STATES ? (they are no brains btw) when i they hooked up to my mono block ! HUH that local guys wanna borrow my sub i gae him a finger !

Im crazy now i dont know what to say!!! DRUNK !!!!! ARGH !

wait till im back to normal then i'll post some pic and tell you my crappy story.
