More guidance for the newbie ;)

Subwoofers

1 x SAZ-3500D or 2 x SAZ-1500D or 2 x Audioque 1200D

1 x Sundown Audio SAX-100.4D or Audioque AQ4X90

Also looking for a set of good 4x6” for the dash but not sure what brand of layout I should aim for i.e. plate or regular speaker.

Battery

1 x XS Power D3100 I only listen to it while I’m driving so the battery should be no problem as far as what I hear.

Alternator upgrade will be needed I’m sure. But let me hear some suggestions if I can bounce some ideas off of you guys. Thanks for any advice it’s much appreciated btw the truck its all going in is a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer 4 door.

The wiring and misc. items are accounted for. Let me know what you might change or prefer over another theres no wrong answer just these are the brands and items I've grown to know.

Why do you need 2 sets of speakers ?

I like the head unit ! But the Type S speakers seems to be the weak point of your system.

I'd better buy one better set of comps and a 2 channel amp (maximum 125watts rms x 2).

Only one battery in the back for a 3500 watts amplifier : is that enough ?

just my 2cents.

if you're going to run that amp at 1ohm then you'll need to order your subs at d1

i think you need more electrical work, one batt for 3k watts doesn't look like enough to me. i dont do high power stuff tho.. big 3, however, is a must!!!!

I think he is going to run each sub at one ohms on each Sundown SAZ-1500D/ Audioque AQ1200D and both subs wired to a 2 ohm load on the Sundown SAZ-3500D.

Your best bet is to go to different car audio shops in your area and listen to components, everybody's taste in how they want their system to sound is different. Pick out the components you want and then come back with the list so we can better help you and direct you in the right decision.

Budget will be about $6k like i said i have the subs just everything else i wanted to know about ;) I listen to a good bit of rap and old school stuff but I enjoy more SQ than SPL but with those RE's I should be ok either way i go. leaning more toward the SQ aspect of things. I'll search around some more and get that list going. Thanks again guys keep it coming.

BTW the RE's are dual 2 ohm so wiring down is limited to 2 ohms if im not correct. I cant get a 1 ohm load is what I'm getting at unless i wire both subs together and run a single larger amp.

Since they are dual 2 means for every driver you can get either a 1 ohm load or 4 ohm load. You could get a 2 channel amp capable of 1 ohm stereo and run each speaker independantly, but if you use a mono amp the subs would have to be wired together and the amp would see .5 ohm, 2ohm, or 8 ohms

If you truly "enjoy SQ more than SPL" then you should spend at least $5000 of the $6k on your front stage. Although I doubt that is truly your goal.

The point was a bit different. Not so hard to have a sub keep up in an SQ install. Rather easy to blow $5k on the fronts as well especially if you include installation.

So the list is looking like this...

2 x SAZ1500D = $1693.88

1 X SAX-100.4D = $581.94

2 X DKH 116 = $421.88

1 X DKH 110 = $379.48

1 X SDBO34 = $26.50

15' 1/0 GAUGE WIRE = $44

10' 4 GAUGE WIRE = $14.31

TOTAL SO FAR = $3161.99

So how am I looking so far?
