New System DP 12's or 15's

Recommended Posts

Hello. Right now I have just 1 12" lethal injection and I love it, but I want to upgrade to something even better. I'm planning on making a fiberglass enclosure for either 2 12" death penalties or 2 15" death penalties. I don't think I will be able to fit 18"s, but I haven't calculated my total volume yet either. How do the 12"s and 15"s compare? Is it worth the extra volume? 18"s? Any suggestions? Thanks.

What kind of vehicle will this go in, usually more cone area wins when it comes to which size; the only problem will be how much room you have. You dont want to put your subs in too small of a box and choke them, so go measure the area you will put the box in and if you have enough for 2-15"s go for it, 2-18''s go for it but if just enough for 2-12''s then those will be your best bet. Just my .02

This is going in a volvo s40 sedan. I am going to use the spare tire well and some of the trunk as my box. My guess is probably 5-6 cubes. This is a build for next summer anyway, I'm just trying to get an idea of what I want to do with this.

hmm, I definitely have to measure, I'd like to try out something bigger than 12"s. I'm guessing they get progressively more awesome as you increase size haha. Any amp suggestions as well? I'm not sure what kind of power these things can handle in a ported box, I was thinking maybe a sundown 2500d or 3000d or even a rf 30001bd. I really don't want to upgrade my 120 amp alt, would battery capacity be good enough to drive around with. This is a daily driver by the way, I'm not sure if I mentioned that before. Thanks for the suggestions thus far.
