Rattle Can Sound Dampener

Has anyone ever used it? How does it work? Is it worth $17. I want to spray the inside and possibly outside of my sub box with it but I don't know if it is worth it. Should I just get some spray on bedliner in a can and use that instead? I was hoping it would created a better seal and add strength to the box.

Which brand are you talking about?

Iirmc most aerosol cans are just a basic rubberized undercoating.

Cascade VB-1S PRO Quiet Kote Damping Spray 18 oz. is what I am talking about for deadener but would duplicolor bedliner spray be better?
