hey, that looks like my sketchup file? How ironic, :)

Sounds like u gettin there perfectly.

before u get too excited, if i didnt tell u a long time ago, when making the plug for the top half of the port, make sure the pieces that slide in those slits are just slightly smaller than perfect because if those pieces are about a perfect match for those slits i showed u a long time ago, once u force it in.. it isn't commin out without a WAR! so ease just a little on those pieces so it's an easy slide in and out, but not so easy it just falls out, lol.

Absolutely nothing got done today. All my friends pretty much came over and just talked to josh and I for the time being. The box was supposed to be constructed but we got nowhere. The only progress that was made was the baffle rings were predrilled lol. Tune in for next week. Hopefully the box will be constructed by then =)

Probably not getting to the construction of the box this week. The way things work with this wall is everything has to go in at a certain time or else it will never go in. The port needs to go in while putting up the floor without the sidewalls. This being said we cant do anything until I construct the port and supplies wont be in until wednesday =(

We will be modifying the doors this weekend though :ban2:

Looking good Chris. Hope the suspension can handle all this extra weight.

Looking good Chris. Hope the suspension can handle all this extra weight.

As long as it lasts me until the summer im fine. Then I will be making that dough again through my internship. I am going to upgrade the suspension as well as the rims.

Still planning out the rims. I am going 22" black with a chrome lip. Deep dishin' it too.

I have narrowed it down to these two so far...

Ya so the 3sixty.2 was installed this week as well as the midbasses. Apparently I am going to have to modify my doors more than expected. Mids and highs amps are temporarily wired. Have a couple problems with the midbasses that I still have to assess (scratchiness for some reason). Currently have them running full range and I have not heard the horns yet.

Was not able to use the 3sixty software yet so don't ask about it. It was a pain in the ass trying to find a bluetooth computer that was capable of connecting with the freaking thing. My old hp notebook didnt work as well as my sisters because the bluetooth link was outdated, my mac would not work because its a piece of shit mac and nobody makes software for the mac, my mom's laptop didnt work because it didnt have bluetooth, and both my gf and her mom's laptops didnt have bluetooth. My dad finally let me upload the software on his work laptop in which I had to spend 2 hours to figure out that his company took out the bluetooth software and I had to reload it all again. I guess the good news is I didn't have to go out and buy a netbook with bluetooth or a windows mobile phone.

Just an all around shitty week as far as installation went. No pics because there were no pics worthy of being taken. Sorry. Hopefully the plexi comes in next week and this build can actually show some of the work that has been put into it.

I hope so. You got all this nice stuff sitting around and getting dusty... Gotta get this thing bumpin' and blow off all those cobwebs! Good luck with the rest of the install, hope it doesn't go as funky as this first part.

Nothing really. We are trying to piece the port together with the plexi. The past couple days have been very wasteful.

you should have built the plug out of wood.. been a lot cheaper unless u just tryin to get rid of plexi...

We are constructing a thin layer of plexi over the port that will light up in bright fluorescent green. Trust its gonna be nice.

Looks Great so far!!

Curious as to your plans for the charging system? Do you plan on adding a second alt. or just upgrading the single?

I have an Iraggi 260 amp in there now. The way all the pulleys mesh together there is no way I can run a second alternator or else I would. I am adding a d6500 for the front and 2 d3100s in the back.
