Ya so not so much got done this weekend. I got most of the front leds wired while almost setting off the air bag by accident. I would post pictures but since it is not complete there is nothing really worth seeing as far as leds go. My Image Dynamics x69 came in as well as my cd1e horns. I forgot to take pics. This weekend coming up I plan on getting all of the leds wired, mounting the horns, and modifying my kick panels to fit the 6x9s. I know a lot dosent get accomplished during the weekend. This is because I still need to see my family, girlfriend, and cut the lawn (takes 3 hours to do because I make that shit look like a golf course). This only leaves me with saturday morning from 8 to 12. Then possibly some time sunday afternoons. Sad I know.

This weekend coming up, im sure the box will be close to done, all we have to do is the bottom and the port then assemble.

You said - I still need to see my family, girlfriend, and cut thelawn (takes 3 hours to do because I make that shit look like a golfcourse). This only leaves me with saturday morning from 8 to 12. Thenpossibly some time sunday afternoons

So, tomorrow, i'm gonna come up there, eat dinner with your family, take your girlfriend to cedar point the rest of the week, cut your grass with an exacto blade for utmost precision and make a replica of edward scissorhands and then go to lowes and buy you some more glue...

By this time, you should definitely be done, :)

question about the front baffle - can we sink the subs into the 3 layers so they lie flush on the board or would we have to make a 4th layer?

u can, it doesnt matter. the addition of displacement is so minute, it's invisible to the NET volume compared to not doing it like that.

I think I missed the final specs, but what was the internal volume after displacement and tuning decided on?

i forget lmao - shawn knows better than me. I believe 30 net cubic feet. I forget tuning frequencies. The port is made for comp and daily so there is a removable plug. I am pretty sure the port is 7 cubes as well.

If you lose a little space due to bracing, that is fine. 7 cubes per is plenty. :)

Ya it is something like that. I am pretty sure shawn made it so there would be 7 cubes per sub after bracing. Most likely there will be a little more but thats fine. I can't wait to order these subs. How long do they take to ship? I know they take a week to get to my house since I am on the other side of the US lol.

Usually we allow for 3-5 days to build.

Specs will vary depending on bracing and rounded corners but-

28-30cubes NET tuned to 29-30hz for daily, comp port tuned to 36-37hz.

The daily port area has 306sqin of port, comp port has 540sqin.

The dome lights are blue and they are freaking bright. I need to upload a halarious video still. I got to put another uv in the ac vents because you can barely see them.

ya i was worried about that too. the bottles look much better when frosted as you can tell from the mikes hard lemonade bottle. The uvs are not that bright. I need to add another to each vent. I just ordered to 38" flex strips in uv for the port =) ... shit is gonna be shooting purple fog out of it =)

different lights give off different lumen values. They have EVERY single spec u can think of about all their lights on that site somewhere because they make em.

Ya I know. I did not think the uv would be that much of a difference though. The green pretty much blind me.
