That is STRICTLY home theater. It will not work for car audio.

Subwoofers don't make power. Why do you need something larger than a BTL...?

Exactly what amplifier do you plan on using? What the woofer will handle power wise is determined by your enclosure.

to an extent but I doubt the OP will be buying/using that high of equipment anyways.

No pretty much always.

I highly doubt he would as well, that's why he needs to wake up for his wet dream of 10,000 watt stereos.

Do you have an amp or amps that are actually doing that level of power, and do you have an electrical system to back them up?

It is pointless to have something of that nature in a daily driving car.

I have 8000+ watts for subwoofers and 2000 watts for highs in my cadillac, but with that I needed 2 alt, 7 stinger batteries, 2 runs of 0 gauge, new rear shocks... I love it but truthfully I wouldn't go through all of it again. Its alot of work and headaches (not even counting the whole bank account thing). just my 2 cents

While we can make subs for "daily" that take that sort of power (pulling from industrial tech we have) there is such a small market for items like that making it simply impossible to be profitable from it. Not too mention it would mean that we release tech that simply has more value in military and industrial applications than it ever will in car audio. No reason to put all the cards down on the table at this point... especially considering we are dropping the Supergauss tech in a new AA sub as well as in another car audio OEM clients products. But... still holding onto SupergaussII and SupergaussIII for a while longer :)

Thanks,

Scott

That's what we have the car audio lines for..car audio ;)

Home stuff needs to be used for what it is intended to be used for.
