Recommended Posts

hey there.. i have made some mistakes on my box and now i am attempting to fix it. i need to know the displacement of an aq hdc3 15.

side note: my box is unintentionally tuned at 30hz.. re-tuning will be at about 38hz.. will i hear a noticeable difference in audible sound after the re-tune??

There should be an audible difference. AudioQue recommends a tuning of 40HZ.

the sub doesnt displace half a cube?!?1

Most subs in that range will displace a max of around 0.2 cubes if that.

Get a saws-all or a jigsaw and start cuttin back on the port til u get desired tuning.

40hz recommended if u wish not to have lots of lows

38hz for best blend of loud upper range and decent lows

35hz for devastating lows and decent upper range

29-34hz for Godlike lows and very little upper range.
