Can Icons be mounted inverted?

I'd like to pick up a 15" icon. The box would be sealed, but to shallow to mount the sub. I have the room to do inverted. Is that an option? Will it have a negative affect on the subs performance?

when inverting a sub you may hear the motor structure slightly....

sort of a twanging noise but it will go away a bit with break in

the inverted sub does loose a bit of SQ to

You can invert it no problem, just reverse the speaker wires.
