Alarm Question

I need to upgrade the alarm on my sled, I just need a basic alarm, but I would like to be able to have remote start, and be able to turn the system on via remote,

it would be cool to have door actuators installed and activeate them with the remote, so as you walking to the car, it fires, systems starts, and door opens for you

for the uber smooth

I need to be able to do this for a good price though

vipers are very good alarms from what i hear

and plus this one has the buttons so u can program door poppers if you wanted those too

I just bought the Prestige APS-996A. They tested this against that very same Viper in an issue of CA&E and it virtually killed the Viper in every aspect. Remote start was better, display is better, range is WAY better, etc. etc. It has 7 accessory channels!!!

Paid $135 for mine off Ebay.

Oh, it was in the March 05 issue BTW.

can I ask what version of it you bought because there are a few different ones with the same model designation

Make sure it says 996A. Make sure that A is on there. The other 996 is a couple years old. I have the 996A like the first one on the page.
