Recommended Posts

IM NEW TO THE AMP AND SUB GAME AND I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS

I PLAN ON BUYING A 12" BTL AND HIFONICS 2010 WATT BRUTUS AMP

IM WONDERING WHAT AMP KIT WOULD BE BEST FOR THIS SETUP

WOULD I NEED TO BUY A CAPACITOR AND/OR UPGRADE MY ALTERNATOR

AND WHERE COULD I FIND SAMPLE BOX SPECS FOR IT BECAUSE I HAVE NO CLUE HOW OR WHAT TO BUILD SUB BOXS

SUGGESTIONS FOR HEAD UNITS

I APPRECIATE THE HELP..

First thing look into a different amp... And capacitors=junk. Look into sundown amps, MUCH more reliable, just get a couple drycell/deep cycle batts for the back do the big 3 and eventually upgrae your alt. As for a head unit I've always been a big fan of pioneer.. Good luck with your build!!!!

Your better off with a Sundown Saz-2000D for that BTL, what kind of car will it be going in.

hifonics amps suck IMO.

like they said, get sundown.

the stinger amp kit should be fine.

make sure when you get your fuse to get the biggest one you can.

and i like alpine and pioneers are nice to.

Do you mean get the biggest that suits the gauge wire he uses? I'd hate to see 4awg with 350amp fuse on it............. ;)

Get a 1/0 gauge wire kit.

You can't really figure out box specs until you get the new car so that you'll know what will fit.
