So i have a Power Acoustik Bamf series amplifier that i bought two or so months ago. When i hooked it up for the first time in my first car it worked fine. I took it out about a month later and havent used it up until today. Now heres my problem. My remote wire will not turn on my amplifier. My power and my grounds are good. the power ground and remote wires all read out to around 13.5 with the car at idle and a little over 12 when in accessory. What i dont understand is why my amplifier will not turn on even though the remote connection is good. Oh yeah the fuses are not blown either. any help would be appreciated.

The amp could be blown. If you're getting good voltage on both the remote and the power wire, then look to the amp as the culprit.

If you truly have good fuses and voltage to both the remote and power @ 12v+ it is most definitely a problem inside of your amplifier.

Conveniently 2 months ago is within warranty, although with a PA good luck with that.
