Well i have some more!

Back in the day I used to be an orion kind a guy. I had about 4 Orion 1200d amps and I even ended up refinishing one of them b/c it was damaged and i have even owned a pair of orion 2500d's and a orion 4002 and a 8002. All those amps did the job the way they were suppose to do it but when i switched over to sundown I can't believe the difference it made! Stuf jsut got louder and gain settings got lower, plus the qualy was just amazing! I curently now have owned an sundown sae1200d, 2000d, 100.4, and 2 sae1000d. In my unprofessional opion sundown beats all!! (sundown > all else)

I picked up a sundown 3000d and a 15" nightshade and could not be happier. I had a problem with my first 3000d and the customer serice was amazing. It was well after 10 oclock and Jacob was online helpng me trouble shoot the problem. I had a new one 2 days later because we couldnt figure out what was wrong! By far the best customer service of any company I have ever dealt with, not just including car audio! I recommend Sundown to anyone that I can! When its time for an upgrade I wont buy anything other than Sundown!

I have nothing but great stuff to say about sundown and DB-r. I bought my 1500d from db-r and the shipping was fast and product worked great. I got may 50.4 and e8's from jacob during pre-sale. I have to admit tho, at first I was a little nervous about a pre-order for a non "mainstream" company; however, I heard many positive feedback, he was active on many forums, and most important he has GREAT communication. HE will answer every little pm or email that time allows for. The combo of all this made me feel good about ordering from him. Man am I glad.

His amps look awsome. Everything seems just right in size, nothing over the top (i.e. huge ugly heatsinks ect.) I love the how you can unbolt the middle badge and flip it around.

Now what i wish was: On the flip-able badge thingy- I think that is where the modle # should go, not just the Sundown name. That way everything would read right, and you would not have a modle number upside down.

Wish there was a 5 channel SD amp. I know it cant happen b/c of the size it would be, so I will leave it at there lol

It would be cool if there was some sort of end caps to help neaten up the install, or a bridging ccover plate to make 2 amps look like 1.

Hi all,

I have just installed my Sundown 50.4 bridged to my component set.

I did not really take time to adjust the gain as it should, but I can say that I feel the change!

I had a Boston gt42 amp before( 2 x 100 on the comps, and 2 x 100 on some rear doors coax); that was playing well.

But my first impression with the 50.4 is that I have much more power, and that is true : 2 x 160 watts instead of 2 x 100 watts for the Boston!!!!

I am satisfied!

My sub amp is a Sundown saz 1000 D and I love it.

I was afraid of playing with an amp at 1 ohm, but I can say these saz are made for that. I live in Martinique, French Caribbeans, with 30° C all year long with burning sun!!! And I have no issue with it.

I was running a JL A 1800 D amp on my sub, giving it 650 watts rms at 4 ohms. The Sundown 1000 gave my sub much more power.

It's the first time I have 2 amps of the same brand in my car, and I love the look! My instal is so much cleaner now.

The customer service is top notch. The owner, and the ssa shop owners answer to ALL my emails in the same day!!!

They are open to suggestions, and I really feel they want to satisfy their customers.

When you buy mainstream brands, you can only talk to the re-sellers, if they take time to answer.

With Sundown, you can talk to the owner. I don't know how he can do that!!! I think these guys never sleep.

One more thing : I must say that online prices are fantastic.

good prices, good (sound) quality, reliability ( never read something bad about them), wonderful customer service, long warranty (2years ?) : what else can you ask for ??

To summarize it up in one word, and one word only WOW. I own the Saz-3000d running it at 2 ohms and it absolutely POUNDS, barely even gets warm even after continued use at high volumes. The Sundown out performs any amplifier i have ever owned well worth the money!

Sundown Audio is pimpin' pimpin'. I use two 100.4s for my mids and highs and 2 3000Ds for my 2 18" Nightshades. Anytime I have a problem or perceived problem I give Jacob a call and I get it handled. Customer service on that level is given to the Team guys and the non-teamers alike which is almost non-existent in an age of emails, voicemails, generic replies and tech support services. As long as Jacob is in business I will never even think of switching to another brand and as soon as component sets are on the product list I will be buying those as well. My loyalty started at SBN 08, when Jacob personally saw to my needs when he did not have to. It's a long funny story that involves my oversights and Jacob's hard work. Thank you again to the entire Sundown Audio partnership. Sundown Audio forever.

Now i didnt get my amp directly from Jacob at Sundown but i got it at Db-r. I ordered a 3000d 5 months ago and it took a couple days for Chris at Db-r to ge the parts in for the amp but every new information he found out about the amp he let me know. Before the amp even shipped out i think i got over 5 emails from him letting me know the process. Been using it for 3months and had problems with the mosfits near the RCA input and sent it back. He fixed it for free and shipped back for free....saving me 40 bucks. ALL I gotta say is my 3000d is a beast and will continue doing business again...probably within a couple months for a 100.4 lol. It punishes my BTL
