Reveiw of my Quad 15" Xcons

Recommended Posts

so I got my 15" Xcons installed and enough play time for a bit of break in..

first thing I gotta say is they are really tight and accurate..

I was expecting a bit of boomy ness (like most 15's) but I was supprized with

almost no note over lap and really clean sounding speed drums that IMO are

less muddy than the 10" Icons were..I found a new appreciation with all my favorite

metal (Judas Preist,Motley Crue,Megadeath exc...) the tight bass guitar riffs and

kick drums slip in and out flawlessly regardless of volume level and the note seperation

is distinctive by tone...a very musical characteristic

the power handling is excellent also.....I was able to shread every woofer I had on this amp

untill now....the only problem now is how hard I want it to pound :fing34:
