which amp to choose?

i was on egay browsing for an amp and came across this RE Audio XT-4000DE V2. seems like a solid amp and price under 350,but wanted to ask about it before i made a decision.

ive heard that the ground pounders are the only amps worth a damn from crunch,but not sure how true it is

out of these which one would be better for a BTL at 1ohm in a 8cuft box at 34hz?

i have a crunch power zone pzi1500.1 and i know it wont be enogh for it and probably does around 900 on a good day.

I have the XT4000, but if I could afford, i would have bought an US Merlin MD2.

Go for the MD1, if you can not afford the MD2.

Keep in mind that Merlin and AX ar US Amps high end series, and that MD`s are "bridgeable with multiple MD amps". XT is not! :(
