Soft Part Assembly And Basket

Recommended Posts

I Was Wondering if You Have An Assembly That Could Be Used For An Old 10" Kicker Competition 8 Ohm. The Extended Pole Stillwater Designs One, The Really Old One. And A 12-Spoke Basket. I Basically Just Want To Have Some Fun With This Motor. It's A Two Inch Coil. I Can Drill Holes In The Top Plate To Accomodate The Basket. Even If It Isn't Really Worth It, This Is For Fun And Basically For The Love Of The Hobby.

Sort of doubt it..the 2" coils we have are very long..and have a very wide OD for a 2" coil.

Yeah, This Is One I Just Had Laying Around For A Long Time. I've Got An Old Assed Stillwater Designs (Dubbed The "Kicker", The Originator Of The Brand Name) That Was Made In 1990. It, Suprisisingly, Still Has A Very Good Suspension. The Cone Is Very Weak And Looks Prone To Folding, Though, And Has A Huge Motor For A Sub Of It's Size And Time.

Does it have a bronco stamped in the motor and kicker in gold across the dust cap?

I'd Have To Sand The Back Plate To See If The Bronco Is On It, The Dustcap Is Bare. I'll Go Get It And Take Some Pics Of It.

I see, those are some orignals. I ran 2 10's back in 1989 just like those. Take note of the small dust cap, you don't see that any more. Good luck on getting parts.

Don't Need 'Em, They (I Have A Pair, With The Original Boxes.) Run Just As Good As They Did In 1990. :D

Well, How About This Nick, I Have A Newer Model Comp VR That Has A Blown Coil (I Have Alot Of Kicker Stuff For Some Reason, Even Though I Hate The Brand.) It's A Dual 2, Like It Matters. It Has A Deep Voice Coil Valley And Is Also Wider Than Normal. Same As Before, I'll Put Up Some Pics And See If This Could Work, See If I Can Get A Basket And Soft Parts That Could Make This Motor Useful. Only Problem Is I Need Shims If I'm Gonna Set It Properly.
