Need measurements for the rl-p 12

Recommended Posts

That would be to run a DVC4 on a 1ohm load, but my question is, can i run it in a 2 chan amp giving each rl-p 750rms

As I said in your e-mail, you can't do that because if the amp is only 1ohm/channel stable, you CAN NOT bridge it into a 1ohm load. The minimum bridged impedence would be 2ohm :)

I still say go with the D2's and your current amp ;)

Then each sub would only recieve 375w ;) (that's if you used the D4's)

Yup....checked out the specs on the amp. You are 100% better off using the D2's with it. And, honestly, there would not be any upgrade in switching to a Hifonics (if this amp is working fine).

So, I honestly would just keep your amp and get the D2's. Run one on each channel @ 1ohm.
