just wondering because I thought I would go digging again for someone to make me one, if you guys have any suggestions or insight on this feel free

the motor is the 104.992 3.2L I-6 DOHC 24v

There is a thread at termpro OT section... group buy on excessive amperage alts. I've emailed & chatted with Nathan a little, really helpful dude.

I've already ordered a 250 amp (@900rpm) alt for $300 for the Mustang...

Will be ordering a 200amp for a teammates Escort for $250...

As far as reliability goes... ask Steve (Iggster) - He's run an excessive in his car for the last couple of years.

BTW - Ohio Gen wanted $450ish for a similar alt for the stang.

I heard back from Dominik, and I emailed excessive but they are on vaction till the 25th of April,

it woudl be nice to get in on the group buy for either of these guys, but money is still tight for a little while

No idea. What year 3.8 and what vehicle? An older one yes, but a 3800, not without modification.

I paid $270 shipped for it. I know these aren't hot sellers, especially second hand. It's unused. Well, I changed the pulley on it to check for fitment, but never actually hooked it up. Put my stock one back on and the car is being sold. So there you have it. If you have a medium or large case older GM alt, it should fit. Delco only, without mods.

Supa, you have a small case Delco I believe. Shoot a photo of the alt from front and back if you can. I just hope it's mounted up high. Or contact Dom and he'll tell you if it will fit, or what mods need to be done.

Well, I would, but I know about well 1% of what you know about your own vehicle. IF he had a question I could not answer, I'd be of no use.
