SAZ-1000D...... Question

What "bass knob" does the SAZ use? I REALLY like the one that came with my SAX-100.4 amp and would like to have the same kind for my SAZ.

Anyone know?

Kinda curious as to why the 100.4 has a remote gain knob? Isn't that what the head unit volume knob is for?

If you use channels 3+4 and enable the LPF for a subwoofer that is what it controls.

I'd emailed Jacob about this earlier, and he confirmed that it would work the way I had planned for it as well.

My idea was to lowpass the rear channels at 5000hz using the multiplier for the crossover frequency, and then use the knob to control the level of the rear fill.

Lowpass is for anything like 200Hz and lower.

"lowpass" sends frequencies below a given crossover point, just as "highpass" sends signals above the selected crossover point. Doesn't matter what frequency the crossover point is.

Component speakers will have a crossover point somewhere around 2500-3500hz, depending on the model. The highpass sends signals above say, 2500hz to the tweeter, while the lowpass sends signals below 2500hz to the woofer.

I just ordered one of the refurbished 50.4s from db-r. Channels 3 and 4 have a low pass crossover adjustable from 50-5000hz, basically the 500hz crossover point with the 10x multiplier switch selected. Anything below 5000hz will be sent to channels 3 and 4. That's what I'm going to do.

i can get 80 ANL fuse or 100, for the inline fuse holder what would your opinion be?

Either would work - you wouldn't blow the 80 running the amp at 1 ohm.
