Done taking orders for the Group Buy now.

Got a total of 23 Drivers spoken for through the group buy offering.

Not too shabby.. now if only all 23 people had paid for 'em already! :finger::lol2:

Ah well, goin' pretty damn smoothly so far.. now we wait!

Still expected to ship no later than the 27th.

Thanks out to everyone for participating! :gift:

payment should be out to you by next week Mike, did you get my email??

FYI, the SSA West Coast meet will be held on June 25th (Saturday) (Details are posted in the respective thread located in the "Announcements" section)

I personally, as well as everyone else I'm sure would all appreciate it if you could come out and show some vendor support. MAybe an LMT demo, or whatever else you have up your sleeves at SoundSplinter these days ;)

If you can swing by, even for just an hour or two it would be awesome.. (location is only 30 mins North of downtown LA)

It would be cool if when we order the driver off the site we can chose the config for the coils, for an extra cost of w/e.

coil configs that are available are clearly shown on the site, if you need a custom driver, im sure Mike is more than willing to accomodate you...

its called the "Contact" page.

Effendi, I did get your email - I'm not in a huge rush.. just wanted to drop mention of it to anyone who may have let it slip their mind B)

If I'm in town you can bet I'll be stopping by at the SSA meet for sure! The thing that may pose a conflict is a trip I'm scheduled to take up to Oregon at the end of June through the second week of July. Call me a hippy, but I've been planning on hittin' the Oregon Country Fair for the last couple months since I have a few buddies up in the area who have raved about how much fun it's been in years past, not to mention over half of my immediate family, including all of my nieces and nephews reside up in the area and may be planning on going as well heart.gif

I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make it to the SSA gathering before I leave though! :woot:

.. and chinny, I indeed used to have choices for various coil configurations on the site - it just so happens that I made the call to discontinue half of the options previously available because of rising overhead, storage space issues, and general customer interest. That's the whole reason we got this D2 group buy rollin' in the first place! :P

Denim: I only have a couple D2's left unclaimed; and I'm not going to sell them until the entire group buy order has been shipped, in case a driver may fail testing and need to be rebuilt, etc.. in order to ensure everyone who did pay up front will get their driver ASAP.

Heh, I was waiting for someone to ask too! ;)

OK, so the deal is as follows.

The special order of drivers has finished production today :woot:

BUT, the hexi-comb cardboard packaging inserts and gaskets had not arrived as of 11am this morning. Provided that they show up and the woofers can be boxed by 11am Friday, I should be able to ship them out that same day. However, knowing how missing parts have gone in the past, I would set yourselves up for a possible 4-5 day delay in shipping. If the inserts and gaskets do not arrive by Friday, I will have to pick them up on Tuesday and ship out by Wednesday at the latest.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but I am working to get these drivers shipped as soon as possible. I will post an update if and when the inserts / gaskets arrive this week. Until then, sit tight, practice your patience, and forgive me for a possible short delay! heart.gif

Well, its all good, because my payment will be delayed also...

Some moron on eBay who won my auction isnt paying for it...

I can send you the actual payment, if you want to waive taxes and shipping costs ;)
