You're going to want to pick an amp out first. You'll probably want one that does power between 1500-2500 watts. Search around for one and then we can tell you what voice coil configuration you want. Your electrical will depends on your vehicle and amplifier you choose.

i looked at a pyramid 4000 which i assume is overrated. and my goals would be just a daily driver that hits hard. and i should have around a thousand to spend. i also looked at a kicker 2500 amp but not willing to pay around 900 for one. it says on fis site that the btl15 rms is 2000. should i go over that? i dont really understand ohms. 2 ohms splits the power of the amp between the two? does having 2 ohms rather than one make it louder? o and its a 98 honda accord. thanks for the help btw

Maybe you should, look into building a smaller, cheaper system. I don't mean cheap in quality, just start out with something less expensive and learn first. That way, you don't go spending all this money and end up destroying the equipment from user error.
