SPL12 and 2 AQ2200s *VID*

Recommended Posts

Testing one of these out before i order 4 more to complete the setup

Both amps @ .5, havent clamped them yet....i might do that today, but theyll do rated power from other peoples results ive seen

Full tilt not clipping the amps itll take the power all day long....when i clip it full tilt gets a bit louder but can start to smell after a min or 2 of a constant song.

Theyll be perfect with 4 2200s @ 1ohm on 4 12s..... :bigclap: :bigclap: :bigclap:

I have a pair of SPL12's and they don't have holes in the dust cap. It this a recommended mod for those who don't have holes in the dust cap? Is there any noise with having holes in the dust cap? BTW interesting port setup. Can you elaborate on what you did? Thanks.

The reason I did that was on account that he told me he would be driving them *hard*...

It helps it load a lot better than if it was just an aero out....keeps the cone under control better on the lows.

And no, no noises outta it....cept LOUDNESS :fing34:

I think he meant by the location and orientation of the install and not the amps themselves.

I picked up that, hence my joke of a response.

Doesnt have to look like anything, as long as what it sounds like is nasty

those subs can handle more than that.

Benhemp used to have a strapped pair of sundown 3000ds @ 0.5 ohm on a single SPL12 and it be fine with it.
