which sub will be louder of the two?

on the right amount of power in a good ported box tuned to around 35hz to 30hz, which sub will produce more spl...yes i know they are both more LOUD SOUND QUALITY oriented, but narrow it down to which one will be louder!

jl w7 13 or Elemental designs 13 Av.2

i know the price of the ed is almost half of the W7 but sometimes that falls back on you get what you pay for!

WTF? Can you make a more useless thread. I thought you'd have figured this out yesterday. Perhaps picking two drivers that were at least similar would make sense as well. The eD shouldn't be bought by anyone and the W7 is really overpriced.

ok dude (sorry)...i just haven't heard the ed sub before! but i have heard the W7 it was loud but leaned more towards sq than anything!

Not so sure I'd call the w7 an SQ sub, the w6 smokes it in the respect.

This doesn't really answer your question, but on another forum I get a trustworthy member really liked the way the 13av2 performed. I haven't heard anything bad about the eD sub, but have heard very little about it as well.

yea that is very true about the w6 since i have owned one, can't really compare anything to the w6 as far as sq goes. but i appreciate it!

yea that's what i have heard also but on the internet...never heard it in person, but i guess we are in the same boat..neither one of us knows too much about it!
