theres better amps for the money man. idk about mbquarts but id look into some other options.

i had a min to look and here is where ive gotten my last 2 kicker amps, ubid.com

u can get a 750.1 for under 200 bucks and they're underrated a far bit.

theres plenty of other better choices for your price range (which i assume is around 200?)

never heard of that brand either. i can tell u for certain that a kicker amp will be very reliable and a good buy, and that they make more the rated power.

to me that amp looks like junk...

guess that was the wrong one, i thought it was the one about the terrible customer service... but either way i kinda wanted to show that there is alot of info on this site and doing a quick search can answer your questions more effectively then asking is amp "x" is good or not. im glad you didnt get one of those amps from sonicelectronix tho haha, good luck with everything.

just saw your post about your 350.4 im pretty surprised u had any problems with it, if it was only 3 months old why not send it back? usually its a pretty rare deal to hear about a kicker amp having those kind of problems brand new.... and i dont think they even have a fan...

here's the link ( http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=17277 ) to the full build log if you want to read it but i chose some juicy ones about some aq2200 problems:

BIG PROBLEM!!!

Another delay.

I can't say what happened because i do not know, all i kow is that there is gonna be about a 2week delay minimum on this project.

One of the amps just went up in smoke due to a possible signal problem.

I can't say anything further until i hear something after they receive the amps.

I did not receive my amps today... so i called and found out why.

They were just about to ship them out to me last friday when they remembered that they still needed to test them strapped up... They stated that they play fine for hrs independently.

So, they strap em up.... BooM!

The slave amp pops AND for the first time that i am aware of has now damaged the Master amp as well!

So, out of frustration, i've been without amps for over a month, driving around almost 400lbs of dead weight, no bass in the car, constant damaged amps... I am about to give up.

He was muffled when he was talkin but said somethin like some blade or metal or somethin was found under the PCB which caused the slave amp(the one that always goes out) to go out which actually damaged the master this time.

These amps have been worked on SO MANY times now... they better act like brand new when i get them forever.

I have never had a problem with an amp ever and to find out it has been something under the board...supposedly if i heard him right.

Well, i can say again that it's nothing that i am doing because they definitely replicated the problem.. Luckily, they fried them there instead of shippin em back to me and fried in my face for the 3rd time...

IF that happened, hehe, i'm not even goin there.

So again, when i get em back this year damage-free..., they will NEVER be strapped again. IT's too risky and too prolonged for repairs.

Ok some more news-

I dont think the amps shipped today but it's not like i'm pissed because they didn't.

I got in touch with AQ a few minutes ago and they said that the last time they had them in for testing, they were strapped together being tested and 6hrs of constant output, they finally blew each other (hehe that sounds funny)

Well, i already stated what the reason was to that but because AQ knows how frustrated i am with waiting so long, the repair center is going over these amps like a mite in a haystack to ensure there is absolutely nothing wrong with either of these amps and WILL be tested in every possible configuration method to ensure 100% working order before they leave this time.

Just for the sake of safety, i am going to be running these independently to each sub and using the PAC Audio universal remote gain controller to adjust the gains when i need to attenuate the output, so for my purposes, they will still act strapped.

I'll just level match the hell out of them and set the crossover settings perfect with the oscope and i'll be all set.

im not going to cancel my order over 1 or even 1o bad posts as ive seen higher end amps have issues. but i will agree on thier customer service, when i called about one of thier subs i was given very vague details and could barely understand the guy, but i have read an overwelming about of good responses to thier products and was advised not to strap them. I really do appreciate the help, it was kind of funny though, you sent me the wrong link which is what made me order the amp lol

actually i sent u link to a thread about a guy asking the same thing, in that link there was post describing some of the issues and a mention of shizzzon's build where he had alot of problems... and today another guy is having a problems with the same amp your getting, im only suggesting that u could have gotten a better amp if u gave alittle more time into looking, i really hope u dont have any problems with your purchase.
