15 fi Q Vs...

Recommended Posts

Well Im about to pull the trigger on the 15'' Fi Q. It will be in a Sealed box ill be putting about 900w give or take to it.

I wanted to know will this sub be louder/ hit harder than a 12'' type x?

I know its not a SPL sub but i just wanted to see because i hear it hits pretty clean..

Thanks

If not the 15 Q im thinking about a 12 Bl Ported.

Do you think this would hit harder or be louder than a 12 type x ported?

thanks again.

I loved my BL when I had it. It sounded good in my opinion and got loud as well. I only had 1000w on it too.

I would pick the Q over the Type-R. Yea the R can get loud but the Q will probably get just as loud and sound better doing it. It gets low but it doesnt do to well on the higher stuff unlike the Q. In the right setup the Q can get louder than the R. But yea like others were saying you will probably want the BL. I was the exact same way as you, comparing the R and the Q and i decided to get the BL. Loud and still sounds good doing it. Def worth the money!!

Get the BL! :fing34:

I wanted to compare the type X but ill probably end up with the BL.

I have a zx750.1 laying around that im going to hook either one up to until I get another amp.

Its going to be going in my 2004 Lexus GS300, which im going to take the stock free air sub out and maby cut a bigger hole in the rear deck to get more bass in the cabin.

well i just want to feel as much bass in the cabin as i can, since my seats dont fold and theres no pass through in arm rest.

im going to see what its like before i do anything.

Do you have any suggestions?

I would port it first to see if it gets louder. Which im sure it will by a long shot. Then go from there. Ported is a very different machine imo.
