Need help with cllean sweep

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm a car installer at a local shop. Me and a couple guys recently put front speakers and rear speakers into a 09 honda civic. The problem we are having is that the rear speakers are very very faint in volume. The rear speakers are hitting very hard with bass, it's just that the sound is very low. Also, when we turn the volume from the factory radio down to 4 the clean sweet unit unit just shuts off. We have the clean sweet unit hooked up through the factory amp. We installed component speakers in the front and rear. Any ideas?

Haven't really messed around the the eq. When we messed with the fade it put it to the rear you could barely hear the rear speakers.

That JL FAQ question is talking about putting output wires from the clean sweep into factory amps.

So if you go head unit - clean sweep - factory amp - speakers: It may not work.

You're supposed to go head unit - clean sweep - aftermarket amp - speakers.

If you just went from head unit - clean sweep - speaker, you just don't have any power going to the speaker because the factory head unit only puts out a signal, not actual power to power the speaker.
