12" flatlyne mounting

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a 12" Flatlyne on order that I plan to use in an IB setup. I am working on the baffle and a couple questions have come up. I am under the impression it is alright to install the sub with the driver facing the cabin of the car (inverted mount). Anything wrong with this plan? If it is a problem is tilting the speaker at a slight downward angle OK (cone facing down a bit)?

Thanks

perfectly fine as long as you completely seperate the front and rear sound waves.

Great. Thanks. The plan is to completely seperate the trunk from the cabin. It is a lot of work but I almost have it. A little fiberglass action this weekend should seal the deal.

One more thing. Do you make some kind of cover for the sub. Would like to avoid marriage issues related to my wife damaging the sub. She tends to throw things in the trunk with no regard to high end audio equipment. Something with the Skull and Crossbones decal would be perfect!

Thanks
