Sorry, one more SD2.5 question

Recommended Posts

AQ recommends what seems to be a pretty high tuning of 38hz. does anybody with these subs tell me if they can still dig pretty deep notes (i listen mostly to rap, but i also watch DVD's in my car)

thanks

If you are tuning that high, you are going to miss out on the lowest of low freq's, and if the company that builds them is suggesting to tune that high, maybe you are looking at the wrong drivers.

Maybe that company builds it's drivers to play below box tuning. The SD2.5's hit the lows very well according to our customers. Of course they don't listen to Mormon pipe organ music either.

well i guess we need to define "low" notes

right now my box is tuned to 38hz and its ok for most stuff, but low 30's and it really starts to drop off. im looking for something that will be strong it that area (and i know i can try building another box for my current sub, but im looking to upgrade anyway)
