Wall socket'd my 12ssd thats going for recone

Recommended Posts

I ordered a recone kit, much cheaper than shipping the driver both ways. I thought it was just 120V x 20A to get a rough... I've blown a lot of breakers and popped a lot of fuses putting subs to sleep :)

So that vid just made my mind up for me. I was looking at getting 4 ssd 12's and running them on a memphis mojo4kw. I didn't think the subs were that big but it looks pretty beefy so I think I am going to try them.It will be my first fi purchase

they are pretty stout speakers. They weight almost 25Lbs each the SSD's are not joke.

i like mine. I have only put 500w on mine so far, i am building for 1000w now the reviews on 1000w read well but i haven't tried it myself. 4 of them on 4000w should be awesome. I went with the 12 instead of the 15 because becuase i thought it might be "faster" for my rock music

I mostly listen to rap but I am going to tune to about 34-35 htz. I want to add the bp option for more power handling but I think I will take my chances and if needed ill turn the power down. I have been trying to get in touch with someone to see what they will really take without the bp option but haven't heard back from anyone

I have only the copper coil upgrade and i thought i was good to about 900w to 1200w if im careful. Playing rock, I will probably be fine, if I bass raced probably not.
