Which subs will be better than my CVX'S?

Recommended Posts

I want some different 15"s that will not neccesarily hit harder than my CVX'S but hit Lower and Sound better...

The box will be sealed around 2.4 cubic ft per chamber....can't fit a ported box for 15"s in my car and i already had two 12" cvx's in a sealed box at 33hz and to me it didn't sound good or hit the lows like i wanted...

The cvx's hit hard but still not low enough and they lack in sq also

So what subs do you suggest will fit my needs??

Thanks

If you want a tight, clean sub that plays equally well down in the 20's as it does at 50 look no further than the Icon. It confused me at first because it was so linear, there was like no discernible drop off into the lower range, and that was wasn't even with an optimally sized box and only with the 10's :)

How do you get a 33Hz sealed box? I never messed with sealed.

Of course everyone knows I'm going to say the AQ HDC3 15", which is comparable to DD 9515G

It would be $290 per woofer shipped to your house.

How is it comparable with the 9515g?

Well I can put it this way, since the HDC3 release 9500 sales have dropped 26%.

And I will say that 26% was from a shop out in MS, probably not the whole company. ;)

just so no one can say I said something that wasn't true. :D
