I am really interested in the weight on this speaker as i am looking for somthing a little better for are powerwheels. I need to know the weight so I can make sure it will still cary everthing including the kid. I know that seems like a stupid question but I have to make sure it will still move under it's own power. Thanks

you can swap gear boxes, motors (they use rc car motors), use bigger motors, i beleive they have a 300 series motor and you can put in a 500, or it might be 500stock then go to a 700, i forget, theres a ton of stuff you can do, also wheel size effects gearing. Havent messed with my 2 for a while, my daughter is getting older and doesnt ride them much. BTW I ride hers (with upgrades) and i weigh 150lbs. It goes no problem.

Cool thanks for the info. But the powerwheels has about 300 pounds worth of box, glass and gear on it and it rides fine with the kid in it. They have Meca kids and the car has to move under its own power. right now we are doing a 44.3 off music with it. My daughter is seven and started refusing to go to shows unless she could compete too so here we are. A frickin powerwheels with 1000 dollars worth of gear.

i noticing 2 different layers on the underside of the cone.. what's the reason for the 2nd layer??

It's not two layers, it is all one layer. I believe it's for a place for the dust cap to sit, plus something about a better triple joint.

I guess I should have listened better when Jacob explained everything but I kinda spaced out with thoughts of high db's after he told me that these subs are bad a$$.

What looks like a layer is the ridge for the dust cap to sit in :) Gary is right.

There is also an extended neck joint on this cone at the triple joint to make it stronger.
