Looks like a Bass Boost. Probably bad news for your equipment.

i was thinking it was a processor, making my sub amp have a more clean digital signal.

Hardly, you'll want a line driver if you want a higher powered signal to your amplifier.

Audio control makes a few good ones.

Just a word of caution, with line drivers you may get increased engine noise you did not realize you had.
