as for the "glowing" look, im not totally sure, but etching, or even going to a sign shop, and asking for etch type vinyl should refract the light and make that part stand out...just shoot the light from the side, and it should show up while the rest stays clear.

and as for the lighting in your enclosure I would make the color of the light whatever the interior of the car has the most accent of.....

We decided not to use the metallic paint and instead we just used gloss black paint. 97 cents a can. Right now we are just debating on weather to go with LED or NEON and we are also waiting for the plexiglass.

id go with led....they can be really small but powerful, easy to hide inside the box compared to neons....but diud you guys do anything with filling in all the screw holes and what not or can you still see it underneath the paint..

We might fill them in with wood putty or it might look better if we remove all the screws and then paint it and then put in the screws again so they stand out all chrome like.

that would be such a pain to do that.....i think it would look much better all the same color but i would love to see what it looks like after that plexi i always wanted to do that...

It Looks Really Clean And Smooth.

I Would Recommend It If Your Doing A Big Box

However It Is A Bit Pricey.

Its $18 A Can :o :o :o :o :o
