help with 4x6 speakers.

im trying to find some new 4x6 speakers for the dash of my s-10. right now i have some memphis car audios but need something better any help?

Just go to your local shop and listen to some. Honestly there aren't a ton of high end 4x6s.

If you really want better, look into putting a 6.5" component set in your doors.

well i was planning on doing both but wasnt sure if that was all i needed

if I where you I would look into some JBL 4x6 they have the best mids on the market

if i did just components would i not need any other speakers besides them and what would i do with the holes for the 4x6

Cover them up with the grills?

or just leave the old speakers in place, and make sure they aren't wired anymore
