would anyone recommend running 2 hifonics brutus 1606d mono class amps to a 15" fi btl sub at 2ohms and connecting each voice coil separately if no. why not?

Is it a dual 1 sub ?

You could wire it like that, only thing is you will have to match the gains on both amps.

sub is dual 2ohm and the specs on the hifonics is 1100rms at 2 ohms which is just around enough to power 1 voice coil i believe. what do you think?
