idea for alittle project

Recommended Posts

i really enjoy tinkering with my equipment and moving things around. however i feel that my sub (AA arsenal 12) is too tall for the application i want it for. i was just wondering if its possible to recone it to an 8"? id like the smaller size to conserve some height.

however i really dont have any need to make the sub smaller... im just interested in whether or not it can be done.

i also understand that it wouldnt be worth the money but i cant help thinking it would be somehow fun to do and make my system more unique...

You found some poly mids? Snap those things up. Even I am out of them (except for the units in my doors). We do have the carbons, which have a very similar response as well.

Thanks,

Scott

sorry i ment carbons... i got a quote from nick back before xmas. if i get thru march with some cash to spare ill be taking him up on them.

does anyone have the demension on the carbon mids? just gota make sure i can make them fit...

also what would be some decent tweeters cheap tweets to match up with the carbons.

right now i have my pg rsd components active. they aren't to bad but i think its time to move up.
