Acoustic damping

I was going to suggest filling the walls with sand, but I think the weight and teardown aspect would make this too much of a mess.

Not quite sure what you mean by a haunt. Do you have floorplans?

We are going to have finalized floor plans at the end of the month when we return from Saint Louis. A Haunt is similar to a Haunted House. To give you a better understanding check out hauntworld.com there is a forum there also.

It sounds like he is building a haunted maze, or haunted house?

I agree with you very heavy. Sand also brings safety issues.

Yes that is what we do. We have a large warehouse that we use for this.

Low frequencies are going to be extremely hard to knock down without mass and space...

I would be honestly surprised if it helped reduce the Bass leakage. Bass is hard to supress without adding somthing STIFF or HEAVY.

You could build "panels" of 2 layers of 3/4 MDF sandwiching a 2" layer of Styrofoam and reuse these year after year. This would be your best bet to blocking some of the bass, however, it can only go so far......
