I need a recone.

Recommended Posts

hello.

i have 2 slug BTL motors .

1 motor has 08 recone (2 ohm) and its a universal.

2nd motor is non universal for 2 ohm coil. (needs new recone)

Just want to make sure that t/s parameters wont change since they are universal and non universal motors (but still going to use same 2 ohms coils.)

Also i need a price for 15" btl d2 and 15" basket and ca glue shipped to 33180.

How long will it take to get it shipped out?

thank you.

sorry for the threadjack...but Duran, you caught my attention...so the D2 is the "bigger" coil that could possibly need the clearance when reconing, and thus requiring the "universal" option?

...so if i had D2 subs now, and wanted to recone to D1 but i dont have the univ. option, i'd be fine?

I wouldn't use that box if i were you. We've had nothing but issues out of people that use his halfway thought through nonsense of not knowing where anything is tuned and if you don't know where it is tuned you don't know where to put a subsonic filter..email me and i'll give you quoted prices for the recones.

At hilo - No issue reconing that to a D1, the D2 outer diameter of the coil is larger and requires more clearance.

i have this box already intalled, its tunned to 30hz ran by mmats 3500.1. matts doesnt have subsonic filters. Lots of people cant believe that it can get that loud from 1 15". Its louder then 4 15s on colossus and better sq then 2 18s Qs in a wall on 3k rms.
